questions
Is the mileage paid?
If you travel over 100 miles in a week you will be paid a flat rate of $30. You must keep track of miles. These will be audited.

How often to you pay and how much do you pay?
We pay weekly. ALL time sheets are due by Midnight on Saturday. ALL documentation needs to be done for all patients seen that week, otherwise there will be a delay in compensation. We pay $45 per visit for RN.

What if my state doesn't issue paper nursing licenses anymore?
When you submit your id's with your application you can go on your state's website and print off the verification, and send that instead.

How long is a visit to a member usually?
This can vary depending upon the patient. Usually first visits, of course will take longer. 30 minutes -2 hours, but every case is individual. We required our Care Managers to be with the member a minimum of 30 minutes.
How many members can I see?
When you intially start seeing members, you will be under a "probationary" period. You will be allowed 2-4 for the first few weeks. After this, you can see as many and as few member as you wish. But make sure you can handle the work load if you choose to see a lot. We usually don't like people going over 32 or 35 in a week unless they can prove they are able to keep up with the pace.
Will Professional Liablity insurance be required to be paid by the nurse? And how much of a policy do I need?
Yes, typically nurses will carry insurance such as this just in case. You will need a 1,000,000 policy and provide us with a certificate verifiying that.
