I will begin by saying, since there is sometimes confusion; we assist our client to find qualified Care Managers all over the United States.  You work for yourself and most of the work is done by seeing actual patient members and completing documentations over the computer. You are actually being paid by Professional Edge Nursing.

Our client has this program where Care Managers visit and assess their members and make observations and recommendations.  Hands on care is not allowed, just assessing and being a Care Manager.  There are 1 time visits, weekly required visits or transitional visits once a week for 30 days after release from hospital.

 

As a Care Manager doing these visits you work on your own.  What happens is, once your application is received  we processes your application.  You will do Care Manager Module training on the computer.  Once you have completed that you are to register yourself for a webinar that lasts for about 1 and half hours.  For doing the training you receive 3.5 CEU’s. You will receive a login and password to get in to the client documentation center which is the place where all documentation is kept for members.  You should receive that within 24 hours but no more than 2-3 days after Care Manager Webinar.

 We will send you a list of available members and that you can review and choose from.  This list changes very quickly.  You can travel a little if you would like.  If there aren't members in the areas that you desire, not to worry...as stated things change and are added all of the time.  The process is quick so make sure you review this listing immediately.

 

You record your patients and times, etc and that is turned in to us weekly.  All documentation must be completed prior to processing payroll; otherwise this could cause a delay with your compensation.

 

We pay weekly.  RN's are paid $45 per visit, which includes the time you spend documenting your visit in the computer. We also require direct deposit.

**You will also need to provide us with a copy of your personal liability insurance.  This is a requirement that all nurses must have in order to be contracted by us.  You will also need to have your I-9 notarized by a Notary Public***
